Fees & Insurance
Fees & Insurance
At Camina Mental Health, I believe that mental health care should feel accessible, clear, and centered around your needs. Below is a simple overview of what to expect in terms of cost, insurance coverage, and payment.

Insurance
I’m currently in-network with Cigna and Aetna.
If you’re insured through one of these plans, I’ll verify your benefits ahead of time and bill them directly.
For other insurance providers, I’m considered out-of-network. If your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, I can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) for potential reimbursement.
If you’re unsure, it’s worth calling your insurance provider and asking:
- Do I have out-of-network mental health coverage?
- What percentage of the fee is reimbursed?
- Do I need to meet a deductible first?
- How do I submit a superbill?

Current Rates
(Self-Pay)
- Initial Psychiatric Evaluation (60 minutes): $350
- Follow-Up Appointment (30 minutes): $175
- Extended Follow-Up (45 minutes): $250
Fees are subject to change with notice. Limited sliding scale spots may be available.

Payment Methods
- Credit or debit cards
- HSA/FSA cards

Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Late Cancellation: Any cancellation or request to reschedule made less than 24 hours before your appointment time. Even if it’s just minutes before, it’s considered late. I understand that unexpected things happen — but short-notice changes still impact availability for others who need care.
No-Show: Missing your appointment without any prior notice or communication. No-shows are taken seriously, as they represent a lack of respect for the time and commitment involved in your care.

Associated Fees
Late Cancellation
- Insurance Clients: First 2 late cancels are waived each calendar year. After that, a $60 fee may apply.
- Private Pay Clients: First 2 late cancels are waived. After that, 50% of the session fee may apply.
No-Show:
- Insurance Clients: $60 no-show fee (not billable to insurance).
- Private Pay Clients: Full session fee. These fees are your responsibility and will not be billed to or reimbursed by insurance

Appointment Reminders
Automated reminders are sent 24–48 hours before your appointment via text or email. Please note that reminders are a courtesy — you are still responsible for keeping your scheduled time.
